Analyst

Job brief

We are looking to hire a driven Analyst to join our team at Kalpa Impact. You will collaborate with our team to conduct research, synthesis, analyze data, create reports, and support delivery of projects that accelerate progress on sustainable development goals. If you are passionate about social impact and want to contribute to sustainable development, we would like to speak to you. As an Analyst, you’ll collaborate with internal teams and external clients such as impact investors, foundations and CSR to lead delivery of meaningful change.

Ultimately, you should be able to conduct research, analyze data and trends, provide actionable insights, demonstrate rigour in project management and support execution of our impact programs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct desk-based and primary research
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data to derive actionable insights
• Develop written reports, data visualisations and presentations to communicate findings
• Assist in the design and implementation of impact-oriented programs
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success
• Support monitoring and evaluation of project outcomes
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in social impact and sustainability

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Social Sciences, or a related field with consistently demonstrated academic achievements
• 0-2 years of experience in research, consulting, data analysis, creative writing, or related roles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in data analysis tools will be a plus (e.g., Excel, R, Python)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for social impact and sustainable development mission
